Brother Anthony Fritz was recognized as the Bear Ambassador of the Month for November. Bear Ambassadors provide tours for prospective students and their families in conjunction with the Admissions Office on campus.

On November 16, 2011, Brother Emerson Babington competed and won the Mr. ONU contest sponsored by the Sisters of Kappa Alpha Theta. This event is a philanthropic effort put on by the Thetas to raise money for C.A.S.A - Voices for Children (Court Appointed Special Advocates.)

In the Fall of 2011, Brothers from the Alpha Upsilon Chapter had submitted proposals to two campaigns to request material and financial support from national causes to aid the Chapter in the pursuits of Professional Projects. Brother Emerson Babington nominated the Chapter in conjunction with Ohio Northern University to be a "Safe Site" for the Great American Condom Campaign (GACC.) From the GACC website: "The Great American Condom Campaign is a youth-led grassroots movement to make the U.S. a sexually healthy nation. Each year, GACC members give out 1,000,000 Trojan Brand condoms on college campuses across the United States, educate their peers about sexual health, and organize to improve the policies that affect young people's health and lives." Upon being selected as a "Safe Site," we received 500 Trojan Condoms to be distributed on campus. The distribution was paired with information on men's health and safe sex practices. Brothers Dan Janovick and Anthony Fritz collaborated to apply for a Target Community Outreach Grant. The application won one of the Grants, and the Chapter received $2000 that the Chapter can apply towards our Professional Project and Outreach goals. Great Job Brothers!
